SHIPPING POLICY
UK Shipping:
All UK orders are sent by Royal Mail with next day delivery, fully insured.
Orders over £195 - Free Delivery
Orders £195 and below - £5
I aim to dispatch items within 1 working day, with a maximum dispatch time of 3 working days. If you are in a rush to receive an item please drop me an email or a DM to let me know and I will do my best to accommodate your request.
You also have the option to upgrade to DHL shipping for an additional charge.
During shop closure (eg. for holidays), notices will be put prominently on the website and social media informing you of the next day that we will be dispatching items from.
International Shipping:
Please bear in mind that all items are sent fully insured for your peace of mind. Our shipping is free WORLDWIDE for orders over £195. For orders £195 and below the costs are as follows:
Continental Europe: £12
**GPSR Update** Unfortunately due to the implementation of GPSR rules in the European Union and Northern Ireland we are no longer able to ship many of our products to the EU and Northern Ireland and thus we have had to make the difficult decision to close website orders to those locations. We are able to ship ANTIQUES to the EU and Northern Ireland so if you are interested in an antique piece please drop us a message and we will arrange to send you an invoice for it. We hope to be able to improve on this situation soon.
Rest of World: £17
Economy shipping is with Royal Mail. The price includes additional third party insurance.
Currently packages are taking 5-7 working days to reach their destinations, but this does change seasonly and we offer this information as a guide and not a guarantee.
We adore Royal Mail - we find them quick for the cost and very reliable with only 1 package lost in well over 2000 orders.
DHL is also available; select at check out to see a quote.
Customs and duty charges may apply and are at the discretion of the customs agents in your country. Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes. Good Folk Jewels are not responsible for the cost of duties on international shipments and any fees are paid to the appropriate customs agency by the customer.
Good Folk Jewels cannot be held responsible for any delays due to customs.
Items that are returned to us due to unpaid customs charges are non-refundable.
** PLEASE NOTE: If your country does not come up as a shipping option this is due to the fact I have to manually input each countries shipping information and so I have selected the countries that I get the most enquiries from. I can ship almost anywhere in the world so please get in touch and I can add shipping options for your country **
Incorrect Addresses:
Please check your addresses thoroughly as once packages are dispatched they cannot be re-routed.
If a package is returned to us by the mail carrier due to an incorrect address we will refund you the cost of the item minus shipping fees and a re-stocking fee of 10%.
Return & Exchange Policy
If you have any questions regarding your order or you wish to make a return, please don't hesitate to get in touch by emailing: rebecca@goodfolkjewels.com
To be eligible for a return of your item you must:
1. Return the item in the same condition as when you received it.
2. Return it with its original packaging.
3. Contact us within 7 days of receiving the item, and dispatch it to us within a further 7 days of us discussing the return.
If you have simply changed your mind that is not a problem but the cost of return postage, in this case, is payable by the customer and is non-refundable, and your postage option must be insured to the value of the item. The customer is liable for the item until we receive it back so this protects you from any postal mishaps.

International Refunds will be minus a 5% restocking fee, and the shipping fee is non-refundable.
Bespoke orders and items paid via layaway cannot be returned or refunded.
INTERNATIONAL RETURNS:
You will be asked to submit a customs form when you dispatch your return. Please take care to mark the customs form with "returned goods" to prevent duties being applied upon re-import to the United Kingdom. It is also helpful to write on the box "returned goods." We recommend against using UPS as a carrier, as they routinely mis-categorise returns and customs charges are incorrectly applied. If custom charges are applied due to negligence we may have to deduct this from your return and they can be substantial. Please take a photo of your package and keep a copy of the shipping label and customs form in case of any mishaps.
