Antique Folded Mariner Link (17")

It's always a thrill to find really unusual antique pieces - especially when it comes to antique chains we see a lot of the staple pieces day in, day out - but these special chains that have been lovingly cared for, for literally decades and decades and are such incredible works of craftmanship really steal my heart. 
 
This chain is formed by little mariner-shaped flat links that have been folded over to create the chain - making a tactile, slinky piece that feels sumptious to wear and picks up the light perfectly. Finished with a tight little barrel clasp she's easy to put on and take off and being made in 15ct gold is the cherry on top.
