Antique Dense High Carat Rope Chain (17.5")

If you've only held the cheap new Argos-type rope chains (antique ropes should sue for defamation), boy are you in for a world of wonder when you feel this absolute PRINCESS. I couldn't turn down the absolute quality on display here - a chain that really is the definition of greater than the sum of its parts. 
 
First - the gold. It's actual butter. These dim February days are not doing justice to her ethereal GLOW. The desire to lick is genuinley taking me over a bit. 
 
Next - the density. Jesus. I didn't know you could get a rope like this. She is thick and dense and it's a treat to just take your loupe and look at how intricately the links have been stitched together. 
 
Finally the finishings. A perfect, cute little tag. The tight barrel, making her a doddle to put on and off, but still sturdy and safe for daily wear. 
 
Dream. Ropes are wonderful for texture. A real stack game-changer. She be SPECIAL.
